Large Horizontal Tripod Rigid Arm	This versatile tripod and rigid horizontal arm combination is ideal for product photography. It allows any camera to be positioned in either the normal horizontal position without the arm or vertically for shooting straight down with the arm. It is sturdy enough for digital SLR cameras but it also works well with compact digital cameras. This tripod is so versatile it can be used for virtually any type of product you need to photograph, making it ideal for any type of item. It is also ideal if you have lots of different types of items to photograph. This is a serious, professional quality tripod for the serious product photographer but it is easy enough for anyone to use. We offer two Horizontal Tripods. In case you are unsure as to whihc one to choose, the Horizontal Tripod Rigid Arm has a longer arm if you need more reach but the Horizontal Tripod Rotating Arm can be used at an infinite number of different angles so it is therefore much more versatile. Photographing from above works well for any item that is flat or that displays best when arranged on a flat surface, such as jewellery, gems and beads (see above right), watches, coins, paintings and artwork, clothing (see below), books and documents and many more.
